We received this wonderful email below from Mab who joined CRST in 2016 and has just graduated and moved from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. The email below is her reflection and gratitude on the night before she moved to Phnom Penh.
Hello Aviv, Michelle, and Jess, I trust you are doing great today.
I am sending this email to show my gratitude to Palti family for choosing to invest your money, time, love, care, support, and energy to change my life and my education. Back to the point when I first moved to Siem Reap, I was afraid to travel to school as there were so many cars, motorbike cycles, and tuk tuk and other kinds of transportation. It was such a big challenge to get adapted to live in the new environment where everyone is very intelligent and skillful. However, day by day living with the CRST family I have changed myself to be a better person as you can see. I could not imagine what I would become without CRST. Maybe I have a family and look after my kids, or maybe I am working as a construction worker in Thailand, or maybe I am at the rice field working under the sun.
When I was in high school, The NGO always checked up with me if I needed their support on monthly email updates, English class at Green School, or any subjects at FBIS that I got low scores on. The first 3 years in FBIS, the NGO never made me feel jealous of my classmates even though most of them are rich kids. The NGO provided me with fair love and support with other rich kids in the school. I remember that once I graduated from high school, the NGO paid for graduation fees. That means a lot to me as I could share my most wonderful time with our CRST family. Thank you for being a part of my success.
One more thing, I would love to say A BIG THANKS for your investment in my Bachelor Degree for almost 4 years in Pannasastra University of Cambodia Siem Reap Campus and ACE English classes as well. It helps me a lot with my speaking skills and having such a really good relationship with other professors and friends. Thank you for the opportunities working with the CRST middle management team and top management team in the NGO. These are the most beautiful life changing lessons to learn and best experience ever in life. Thank you for believing in me and giving me so many golden opportunities to join NGO activities in which I can help myself and my community at the same time. 🤗🙌✨✨
Last, I would like to say THANK YOU AGAIN for choosing to support my next chapter of education in Phnom Penh. I am sure you are very happy to see our students fly higher as you are already giving them wings. I will move to Phnom Penh on Sunday night with our Senior Student Group as some of them come here for Community Service activities and will travel back to Phnom Penh together. I will keep communicating with Palti family as well as the CRST family as they all give me such unconditional love. 💕💕💕😍🙏🙏🙏
Please take care of yourself, and I hope to see you later again this year. I will update you through monthly emails once I am in Phnom Penh. 😘✨✨✨
Wish you all the best,
Mab
